We are committed to the highest international standards for offset. For this reason, we do not sell the following:

Non-additional RECs. We only support renewable energy projects that meet nationaly recognized eligibility requirements.
Carbon offsets that have been double counted. We insure that each offset has been verified and approved by a credible agency to assure that it is not being double counted.
Unverified tree planting. Standard Carbon only sells offsets generated by verified tree planting that has been registered and verified according to CDM, VCS, CCX, CCAR, or US Department of Energy 1605(b) standards
